Missing Elderly – PR 18-04

Update 3/6/2018 2:00 pm -The North Richland Hills Police Department continues to work towards bringing Mr. Booth home to his family. At this time, the Silver Alert remains inactive due to the lack of leads coming in. The department is diligently working with Dallas Fire Rescue (DFR) to investigate the reports of a white sedan that went into the Trinity River in Dallas on February 21, 2018.

DFR is coordinating the search and any vehicle recovery operations through Texas Parks and Wildlife. Efforts will continue to increase as the Trinity River conditions continue to improve and become safer for search and recovery operations.

North Richland Hills PD has received several inquiries regarding a reported white truck in the Trinity River in Dallas on Friday March 2, 2018. Further investigation and ID by the Dallas County Medical Examiner revealed this is an unrelated incident to our missing person’s case for Mr. James Booth.

Anyone with information regarding Mr. Booth’s disappearance is encouraged to call the North Richland Hills Police Department Investigations Division, 817-427-7030.

Update 3/1/18 10:00 pm – DPS Austin has discontinued the #SilverAlert for James Booth due to lack of leads coming in.
