Assist with Deputy – OIS – PR 19-09

Assist with Tarrant County Precinct 3 Deputy leads to arrest in Hurst.

At about 3:30 pm on April 24, 2019, a Tarrant County Precinct 3 deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic related offenses and a short chase ensued. During the pursuit the suspect vehicle attempted to ram the deputy twice.

North Richland Hills officers observed the suspect vehicle fleeing and then crash in to the AT&T store, 464 Grapevine Hwy, Hurst, where they stopped to assist. The suspect vehicle appeared to be disabled and officers attempted to apprehend the suspect. During the attempt to apprehend the suspect, a North Richland Hills officer fired their service weapon. The suspect then fled the area again.

The white female suspect and blue Hyundai sedan were located at Wells Fargo, 6300 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, where she appeared to be skimming credit card information off the drive up ATM.

The female suspect was taken in to custody without incident and transported to the Hurst jail. There were no reported injuries to the suspect, officers or patrons.

Hurst Police Department is investigating the incident under case number 2019001895.
